The Opportunity: Join a fast paced, well-funded technology provider who is helping to drive digital transformations within the Automotive industry via their innovative software-defined IoT platform.
We are currently building out / expanding a Framework development team for creating Test framework & tooling that supports the companywide global QA functions as use these frameworks and tools for testing scenarios across complete end to end architecture stack from system/hardware right through to Web UI portals, Cloud services etc.
We are looking for software engineers with a QA mindset, in order to create the tools and applications that make the wider QA ecosystem more efficient and effective (basically QA is your end-customer for the tools / frameworks you will be developing and implementing).
Experience overview:
- Ideally a third level degree or Masters in Computer Science/IT or equivalent.
- 2-4 years software engineering experience (preferably Python, C++, however we are open to other OO languages like Java, C#, Typescript, Go etc).
- Strong understanding of fundamentals such as OOP, OO Design (design patterns).
- Experience creating QA/Test frameworks, tooling or other equivalent solutions that benefits either the testing process.
- Experience / exposure to working with embedded systems, IoT solution or other applications/services that might communicate with devices, OS or hardware.
- Strong understanding of Linux OS
- Exposure to Cloud-native architecture is a bonus
