Job description

The Opportunity: Join a fast paced, well-funded technology provider who is helping to drive digital transformations within the Automotive industry via their innovative software-defined IoT platform.

We are currently building out / expanding a Framework development team for creating Test framework & tooling that supports the companywide global QA functions as use these frameworks and tools for testing scenarios across complete end to end architecture stack from system/hardware right through to Web UI portals, Cloud services etc.

We are looking to hire a Software Architect, who can work with internal Development & QA team to create future proofed Testing frameworks and tooling that can be used across the organisation.

As the architect, you will own the technical QA / Test framework roadmap for creating tooling that can test, validate and help with scalability on cloud services in the future.

Some of the key skills and experience you will have includes:

  • Masters degree / equivalent in Computer science, Mechanical engineering, Computer engineering or related fields.
  • Ideally 12-15+ years in software engineering (embedded software for industry segments such as Cloud services, Networking, Data Centers, automotive or Software-defined Networking/IoT or similar platforms
  • Deep understanding of software development and testing methodologies.
  • Strong coding experience in one or more languages such as C++, Python, Java, C# or Go.
  • Hands-on experience with Test tooling/automation and frameworks - for example PyTest, Playwright, Postman or others.
  • Good exposure with SQL / NoSQL databases and client-server or microservice architecture.
  • Strong understanding of core fundamentals - OOP, Data structures, OO design (SOLID / design patterns)
