Senior Software Engineer (Python) - Flexible Hybrid Work (Dublin)
In modern times, there is a huge emphasis on investment management within financial services. Global organisations with vast asset portfolios manage market risk & position through modern data analytics and insights. This often a challenging and complex business environment which hinges on the successful utilisation of ground-breaking IT and software engineering practices to create and leverage competitive advantages to stay ahead of the competition.
How would you like to be part of a mature team building modern data analytics tools that run data consolidated into consistent data models? These data models are used to create large scale regulatory reporting within tight deadlines and help gain insights from market risk/ positional data on a daily basis.
The current tech stack is: Python, Flask, React.js, SQL/ Oracle, Git/ Jenkins, Ansible.
Skills required:
- Prior experience creating end-to-end, enterprise-scale applications in Python code.
- Experience with ORM's such as SQLAlchemy.
- Demonstrated experience working with UX/ UI Designers to implement design into code.
- Familiarity with core integrating services such as AWS or REST API's.
- Strong SQL server and CI/CD experience are important.
Initial 6 month rolling contract, excellent daily rates. Long term project work, 24 months+ duration.
