My client is a leading global provider of advanced mobile messaging solutions and services. With nearly two decades of industry experience, we serve a diverse range of clients, including major mobile operators, wholesale operators, and digital communication platforms.

What You'll Do as a Programme Manager:

In this role, you will oversee a portfolio of client-facing projects, ensuring their successful delivery while guiding and developing a team of project managers. You'll play a key role in driving growth by meeting financial objectives, cultivating strong client partnerships, and ensuring project success throughout.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the execution of a global portfolio of technical projects, ensuring they are completed on schedule, within budget, and meet quality standards.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, managing expectations and nurturing strong, enduring relationships. Your client-facing expertise will be crucial for project satisfaction and retention.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of project managers, fostering a collaborative, high-performance environment that supports successful project outcomes.
  • Monitor and manage the financial performance of all projects, focusing on financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting to meet revenue goals.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with clients, gather feedback, and ensure their needs are addressed throughout the project lifecycle. Your commitment to customer satisfaction will be key to long-term success.
  • Review project results and integrate lessons learned to enhance processes. Support pre-sales activities and contribute to streamlining project delivery timelines.

 

Requirements:

  • At least 8 years of experience as a client-facing Programme Manager in the Telecoms or IT sectors, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role. Demonstrated success in managing and mentoring teams while delivering large, complex projects on time and within budget.
  • PMI or PRINCE2 certification, with extensive experience in managing client relationships in IT/DevOps or Telecommunications.
  • Strong expertise in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting, with a proven ability to manage projects within financial parameters.
  • Excellent leadership and team development skills, with the ability to inspire high-performing teams.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage with technical teams and executive stakeholders alike.
  • A proactive, customer-focused mindset with a passion for continuous improvement. Highly organized and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
