Desktop Support Administrator

Stelfox is looking for Desktop Support Administrator for one of our clients based in Cork.

5 days a week on-site

Location: Cork, Ireland

6 to 12 months rolling contract

Scope:

• Provide in-person technical support to employees and contractors.
• Provide a high level of customer service and professionalism in line with company policies, practices, and expectations.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
• Document issues, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions in the ticketing system.
• Advocate for the customer by owning the issue and facilitating technical support from the initial contact to resolution.
• Escalate unresolved complex issues to the appropriate support teams.

Key Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.
• Desktop Support is a mandatory skill for this role.
• Excellent customer service skills, along with strong troubleshooting and problem resolution abilities to effectively identify and diagnose issues without relying on scripted documentation.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills in English.
• Flexibility and adaptability to succeed in a dynamic, fast-paced, and constantly changing environment.
• Ability to maintain composure and a customer-service focus in stressful situations.
• Conceptual understanding of IP networking and basic network troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with multi-tiered and web-based information systems architecture.
• Experience providing hardware and software technical support for iOS devices.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting iOS operating systems.
• Experience using an IT service management or CRM system for tracking technical support cases.
