Job description
Stelfox is currently recruiting an Azure System Administrator / DevOps engineer for one of our financial services client in central Dublin.
This is a one year fixed term contract, tasked with supporting the IT/Development team in the monitoring, support and maintenance of their Azure cloud-based systems.
You will be responsible for the operational support, system monitoring, oversee software, hardware or virtual infrastructure support as issues arise. You will work closely with interal and external IT / Dev teams in deploying reliable cloud infrastructure based on Azure.
Some of the microsoft services currently used in environment:
- Cloud infrastructure - Azure DevOps, Azure Resource Manager, Azure CLI
- Monitoring -Azure Monitor, Application insights, Log Analytics
- CI/CD - Azure DevOps,Github Actions, Azure Functions
- Security - Azure Security Centre, Azure Policy, Azure Key Vault
Preferred experience:
- A degree in computer science, engineering or related discipline.
- 3+ years experience in System administration, Cloud engineering, or equivalent field.
- 2-3 years commercial working knowledge of Microsoft Azure services.
- Proficient in Azure Cloud such as services like Azure DevOps, Azure SQL, Azure Kubernetes Services, Azure App Service.
- Experience with scripting languages like Powershell, Bash or Python.
- Strong written and spoke communication and collaboration skills.
