Senior Oracle ETL Developer - Daily Rate Contract - NEW Role
** Candidates must be based in Ireland, hybrid-working model **
Required Skills:
• Hands on database programming/development experience in Oracle using PL/SQL (package, procedures, functions, triggers)
• Experience in Python / Java, Autosys, Unix, DB Migration
• 5+ years of development experience with Oracle, PL/SQL
• Knowledge and experience with Performance tuning, indexing and optimization.
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose problems quickly and communicate proposed solutions.
• Should be good in Advanced PL/SQL, Tuning, UTL feature, Developer tools (Toad)
• Responsible for development of quality (i.e. readable, performing and supportable) code, delivering the functionality detailed in the technical specifications
• Preparation and execution of detailed unit test cases
• Coordinate implementation including packaging of code and obtaining the required approvals.
• Provide BAU and post-implementation support.
• Works well under minimal supervision, with general guidance from team leads or senior developers.
• Responsible for reviewing and understanding requirements and translating them into high-level and low-level documentation including source to target mappings.
• Responsible for development of job schedules that integrate with upstream and downstream systems (Autosys jobs)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience working in an Agile development environment
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Git, Jenkins, Artifactory, Ansible
