Stelfox is supporting an Irish SaaS/software based fleet management platform provider who deploy to customers across UKI, Europe and North America.
We are looking to add a Scrum Master to the software engineering function, who can guide the team and organisation on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and values to delight customers.
Some of the task involved will include:
- Assessing the scrum maturity of the team and coaching the team to a higher level of awareness around scrum practices.
- Remove impediments or guiding the team to remove impediments by finding the right personnel.
- Build a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged with a focus on problem solving.
- Support the Product Owner, regarding grooming / refinement and maintaining the product backlog.
Experience / Qualifications required:
- 2-3 years experience acting as a Scrum Master specifically for a software engineering team / environment.
- Experience of various patterns and techniques relating to the Scrum process (Burndown methodogies, Retrospective formats, handling spikes, bugs etc).
- Knowledge of other Agile approaches - XP, Kanban, BDD etc.
- Awareness of widely successful techniques: User Stories, BDD, ATDD, Agile Games, Continuous testing etc.
