QA Test Framework Architect

 

My client is seeking a dynamic and experienced QA test Framework Architect to join their fast-paced, innovative team. The company is at the forefront of developing cutting-edge technologies and software for the mobility sector.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with QA teams and developers to define comprehensive strategies for the test framework.
  • Take ownership of QA development artifacts (e.g., test code repository), ensuring best practices are maintained and followed by the team.
  • Serve as the owner of the technical QA test framework roadmap, aligning it with the business and product goals in collaboration with the management team.
  • Track and manage test framework activities, including schedules, resource allocation, requirements, defect tracking, and resolution to ensure alignment with key stakeholders.
  • Identify areas for improvement in test framework methodologies, providing valuable insights and suggestions.
  • Ensure the quality and performance of test frameworks developed for both private and public Cloud Infrastructure.
  • Design and develop QA test frameworks for integration, regression, stress tests, and test suites, with a focus on automation.
  • Leverage strong Web/UI testing knowledge and utilize tools such as Playwright for automation.
  • Proactively identify performance bottlenecks and develop automation tools to validate scalability across Cloud Services.

 

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields (Ph.D. preferred).
  • A minimum of 15+ years of experience in embedded software within industries such as data centers, networking, security, cloud services, or automotive.
  • Deep understanding of test methodologies and software development processes.
  • Proficient in Linux command line, shell scripting, and networking fundamentals.
  • Experience with cybersecurity, including reviewing and challenging product specifications.
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as C++, Python, Java, Javascript, or Go.
  • Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks, including Playwright, PyTest, Behave, and Postman.
  • Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases, client-server architectures, and automation tools like JIRA and Jenkins.
  • Strong passion for testing and quality assurance, with a deep understanding of software engineering and development principles.
