Based in Cork, Ireland

About My Client

 

My client focuses on enhancing help desk operations by combining advanced automation and human expertise to deliver efficient and customer-centric support. Their services help businesses streamline routine tasks, improve operational efficiency, and elevate user satisfaction through tailored workflows and analytics. They are seeking an IT Help Desk Analyst to provide hands-on technical support in a fast-paced environment. You'll work closely with colleagues, customer IT teams, and internal stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure seamless service delivery.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Provide prompt, effective technical support, ensuring positive outcomes for users.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues while maintaining professionalism and patience.
  • Collaborate with Engineering teams to develop IT automation workflows, reducing manual interventions.
  • Working shift and on-call patterns as part of a rotation process to support U.S customers.

 

 

Your Expertise

 

Technical Skills:

 

Proficient in:

 

  • Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, and Slack.
  • Operating systems including Microsoft Windows and macOS.
  • Help desk tools like Jira, ServiceNow, and FreshDesk.
  • Knowledgeable in:
  • Networking protocols like TCP/IP and troubleshooting network issues.
  • Identity and Access Management systems.
  • Mobile Device Management platforms such as JAMF.

 

Non-Technical Skills:

 

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with customers and team members.
  • A quick learner who can adapt to new technologies.
  • Skilled in prioritization and decision-making under pressure.

 

 

Requirements:

 

  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in an IT support role.
  • A proactive problem-solver with a focus on delivering exceptional service.
  • An effective team player with a collaborative approach to resolving issues.
