Hardware Lab Manager - Dublin
Are you excited to work as the Hardware Lab Manager in Dublin for a leader in Advanced IoT solutions? They are currently looking for a Hardware Lab manager who is responsible in reassembling ECU's for there new team in Ireland.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations in the hardware lab, ensuring a secure and efficient workspace.
- Lead activities for hardware setup and testing, including assembling prototypes.
- Identify and troubleshoot connectivity and configuration issues in test setups to maintain reliable functionality.
- Work closely with engineering teams to develop and implement testing plans and methodologies.
- Maintain clear documentation for lab workflows, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, with 5-8 years of relevant experience.
- Hands-on experience in a hardware lab setting with strong skills in soldering and prototyping.
- Solid knowledge of automotive networking standards and protocols, such as CAN, LIN, and Ethernet.
- Proficient in troubleshooting and configuring test setups using equipment like power supplies, oscilloscopes, and network traffic generators.
- Experience with lab management tools and methodologies is advantageous.
- Competent in IT systems and network administration, including managing and configuring server and network equipment, with experience in Linux or similar systems.
