My client are a fast-growing company providing advanced software for dynamic, software-defined vehicles. Their solutions, used by a leading global OEM, are driving the digital transformation in automotive technology. Their diverse team consists of top technology and automotive specialists.

 

My client are seeking a motivated Embedded Software Engineer Manager to join their team. This role involves leading a cross-functional team through the full software development life cycle, working on cutting-edge technologies from conception to deployment. The ideal candidate will be hands-on and able to lead effectively.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Lead, mentor, and expand a global engineering team, ensuring high-quality and timely product delivery.

 

  • Establish and maintain standards for code quality, reliability, and maintenance, including conducting design and code reviews.

 

  • Collaborate with product managers to prioritize development, manage project scopes, and represent the engineering team in customer interactions to gather requirements and drive solutions.

 

 

Q ualifications

 

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field (MS/PhD preferred).

 

  • 10 years of hands-on software development experience, including system architecture and clean code.

 

  • 3 years of managing a software development team and 2 years as a technical lead or architect.

 

  • Experience managing engineers across multiple countries and handling multiple parallel projects.

 

  • Proficiency in C++ and Python.
