Job Opportunity: DevOps Engineer
Stelfox is collaborating with a client who work on a data -driven analytics platform for the finance industry and they are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join their team.
Role Overview:
As a DevOps Engineer you will work alongside a skilled team to support and maintain their finance analysis platform. You’ll help build and optimize their infrastructure-as-code on AWS, ensuring reliability, scalability, and efficiency across their systems.
Responsibilities of the Role:
•Perform production support of an AWS based SaaS platform
•Support various Developer Tools (DX) including Github
•Incident monitoring and management over AWS tools
•Assisting with managing the releases & deployments
•Building automation of DevOps processes and gain understanding of all application infrastructure
Requirments:
•Problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
•Experience working within a Linux/Unix environment using Github/Git
•Proficiency with 1 software language (Java/Python/Javascript/Typescript)
•Exposure to Bash/Shell Scripting
•Knowledge of CI/CD (Jenkins/Teamcity/CircleCI), Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Pulumi), containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes/AWS ECS)
•Understanding of database technologies (Postgres)
