Stelfox is working closely with a Fintech based in Dublin City who are looking to expand their engineering team specifically on the Financial engineering side, by hiring a Financial Software engineer to work on the core elements that power their financial products. The company operate in the space of providing Risk Management SaaS platform for enterprise clients across a range of Industries globally.
Some of the core responsibilities of the role will include:
- Gather requirements, define and turn into deliverable solutions.
- Designing and developing software applications that power financial risk products.
- Optimise performance and scalability of financial systems to support inccreasing transaction volumes and users growth.
Preferred experience:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Mathematics or other engineering fields.
- Strong background in software engineering specifically relating to financial backend systems with a good understanding of financial risk instruments or equivalent.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages, ideally Python but others will be considered like C++ or other OO languages.
- Solid experience around database technologies such as SQL, Postgres or RDS.
- Background domain knowledge Risk Management, Investment products or equivalent is a big advantage.
