Senior Python Backend Engineer
Stelfox is supporting one of our Fintech clients in the recruitment of a Senior Python Engineer for their core development team in Dublin City.
Your role will involve:
- Developing scalable SaaS solutions with Python, Django and AWS services.
- Guiding technical discussions, evaluating designs and code, and ensuring compliance with best practices and exceptional quality.
- Mentoring and providing technical leadership to less experienced colleagues, fostering their career development.
- Working closely with product management, UX/UI experts, and stakeholders to define requirements and produce solutions that focus on the customer.
Preferred experience:
- 7-10 years in commercial software engineering
- Strong exposure to creating Python based backend services at scale, working with API's, Databases and preferably deploying to AWS.
- Strong communication skills and ability/willingness to support and mentor junior developers as a Senior engineer in the team.
This is an opportunity to work with a local team in Ireland as the majority of the software engineering function is located in Ireland so working with multiple distributed teams is not required making it easier to get the work/life balance right.
