Stelfox is partnering with a global financial services organisation who are looking to hire an IT Software Delivery Director for their technology hub in Carlow.
With the company embarking on various digital transformation and IT/software delivery programmes over the next 3-5 years, we are looking for a Delivery Director who can lead and run 2-3 agile software engineering / technology teams with cross functional skills spanning across Software/Web/Mobile engineering, QA, Scrum masters and product owners.
We are looking to hire an individual with experience leading both engineering / Dev Managers as well as core agile software development teams working on various initiatives for an international / global organisation.
Experience required:
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent IT / technology field preferred.
- 8-10 years+ experience working in the IT/Software engineering sector.
- Previous experience leading and running IT / software development teams ccovering cross functional skillsets.
- Strong understanding of Agile/Lean leadership principles
- Ability to motivate, mentor and guide the team, identify areas of growth for the individuals and the platform
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills including the ability to present clearly and persuasively to partners, colleagues, and senior executives.
- Has strong planning and presentation skills, and the capability to listen and influence.
- Has proven and demonstrated knowledge and skills in one or more technologies or industries
This role will operate in a hybrid working model, with 3 days onsite in the office and 2 day working from home.
